Jun 7, PM in response to choup69 In response to choup It definitely seems to be softwares related. Some of them make demands on an hardware particularity I guess that cause the kernel panic. The problem hasn't reappared with QuickPick zoom disabled but it still happens sometimes with Opera or Safari. Nowadays I use Firefox and update after update the problem becomes very rare.

User profile for user: choup69 choup Question: Q: Question: Q: WORKED FOR ME : MacBook Pro mid black screen problem Hello Good news 'til now : Like for some mid macbook pro owners, I started to have a recurrent daily problem : when I was using the trackpad to do something in Opera, Safari or QuickPick Launchpad clone , I had very often seen suddenly my laptop seem to turn off but not really the screen turned off, no key to bring it back, power button disabled, it was like sleep mode but without typical sleep mode light and with nothing to do to wake it up, even the caps lock key didn't worked anymore.
The problem could occur three times a day or more. Great game anyway! Last edited by nitram ; 8 Sep, am. Well, forget what i've said: I forced the Steam Client to quit, then I restarted it, and it worked! Looks like it was a Steam Mac client not well initialized for me. Maybe you can try this limbster!

Who knows. I'll take a look into that and report back later. Originally posted by limbster :. It looks like a configuration display problem and I don't know if I have to change my system settings or something on Steam, maybe my computer or the graphic configuration of Steam is stuck with the graphic mode and the screen ratio of Lone Survivor which has a very small screen Just an idea but it's pretty upsetting If you are using a macbook pro, check energy settings and force it to use the dedicated graphics card only. I am using the dedicated graphics card as well.
Ok this is odd. I just turned on my mac, turned on steam, and Closure works. I guess it didn't like to be launched after installed, without restarting steam :D I'd like to know how i could avoid these problems in the future, though.
