I got to Step 5. I didn't see "App passwords".
So I looked for "2-Step Verification" and couldn't find it. I found the instructions for locating the 2-Step Verification in the Help Forum. But, I couldn't find 2-Step Verification anywhere in my account. Can you offer any insight into how I can get past 5 in your instructions?
I have a GoDaddy email address that is successfully set up on GoDaddy side to forward to my Gmail account inbox. Got any insight? Nothing works. As a side note, it also works on my iMac on a different Godaddy email account with the exact same server details except for the user name and password. What settings work on your other Mac? SSL on or off never use SL off unless you want your email to be open for the world to read. Sorry, I should have been more specific. I don't have SSL on my account. I tried deleting the account and rebooting previously, and it didn't work. I tried it again following your suggestion, but it still doesn't work. Don't know if it helps, but this is the result of trying to Telnet. Does that not suggest a connection? Post the exact settings you are usng on your other Mac. The telnet result does suggest a connection. Yep, they provide SSL at a significant extra cost which I didn't take up when I moved to them a few days ago.
Take notes of all account information or take screen shots. You may need to set the accounts up again.

Quit Mail. Paste the line into the window. Move the folder com. You must move the entire folder, not just the contents. Relaunch Mail and test. If the problem is solved, recreate any required Mail settings and import any emails you want to save from the folder on the desktop. I had exactly the same issue and I performed the following steps which has solved the problem:. You may need to get the URL from your internal IT team or if you have a Windows PC, and are running Outlook or you can obtain this information my starting outlook and holding the CTRL key down and right clicking the Outlook icon in the system tray and selecting the Test email Auto configuration. It will pick up your email address, put your password in and hit the TEST key.
